Year 6 Bikeability Success
Year 6 took to two wheels this term as they participated in the Bikeability programme, developing vital cycling skills and road safety awareness. For some, it was their first time learning to ride a bike—an exciting and rewarding milestone! Others built on their existing skills, gaining confidence and control while learning how to navigate roads safely and responsibly. Every child successfully achieved their Level 1 award, demonstrating excellent balance and bike handling. Many also progressed to earn their Level 2, confidently riding on quiet roads with care and awareness. A fantastic achievement for all involved—well done, Year 6!
RobinWood
Our Year 6 pupils embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Robinwood, where fun, friendship, and fearless determination filled every moment. From conquering high ropes and navigating the piranha pool to mastering teamwork in the crate challenge, each child faced their fears with courage and pride. Laughter echoed through the woods, and bonds grew stronger with every shared challenge. Whether climbing to great heights or solving tricky puzzles, our students showed resilience, bravery, and brilliant spirit. It was a trip full of memories that will last a lifetime—what an incredible way to celebrate the end of primary school!

Art

We have been exploring how different colours induce different moods in art.  We looked at the artist Willy Stower who painted the first depiction of the sinking of the Titanic in the early 20th Century.  We explored our mood when looking at his painting and how it changed when it had been colourised.  We practiced mixing different colours to show different moods and added them to our art books.
