RSPB Bird Watching

We were lucky enough to go out onto the playground to do some birdwatching.  We enjoyed doing this so much that we then made some bird fat balls that we took home to put outside. We really hope to see a lot of birds eating from the fat balls we made.

Art - Florence Nightingale

We have been finding out all about Florence Nightingale. We spent one of our art lessons producing monoprints of Florence Nightingale.  The tracing lessons we have been doing this year really helped us with this.

History

In Sunflowers, we have been learning all about the Great Fire of London.  We have been creating artwork for this where we have used tissue paper to create a flame effect before adding buildings.

Special Visitors!

The Sunflower children enjoyed a visit from two reindeer horses.  I think the smiles show how much they enjoyed meeting the reindeer horses. We are so glad they stopped by.

Halloween

We enjoyed creating our own silhouette art for Halloween.  We used a range of different colours to give it a spooky feel.

Fine Motor Skills

In Sunflowers, we have been practising our cutting skills.  We then used this skill to cut up pieces of a picture and try to put the pieces together.  Some of the pictures were a little tricky but we didn't give up.
